We cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded, deceived, or delayed. We will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of our enemy, negotiate at the table of the adversary, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
ABOUT US
The Youth ministry at Temple of Praise International Church (TOPIC) goes by the name C.L.A.Y – Christians Living According to Yahweh. This represents the lifestyle that the youth body at TOPIC has determined to live.
The scripture of the youth body is 1 Timothy 4:12, “Let no one despise your youth but be examples to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” These were encouraging words from the Apostle Paul to the young minister Timothy, and are words that the youth body takes to heart. Through them, we recognize we have a role in God’s kingdom. Our youth is not a handicap for God! We have a voice, we have a place, and we are relevant to God’s purpose.
MISSION
As a ministry within Temple of Praise we strive to align with the church vision based on Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” In believing and living according to God’s word, and by exemplifying the attributes listed in 1Timothy 4:12, the youth ministry seeks to influence and impact the youth of this generation. We believe by letting God’s light within us shine we will touch and draw men unto Him, even according to His word.
